Vashti's great love and respect for oriental dance, coupled with her energetic yet graceful interpretation, have made her a favorite performer and teacher throughout the Southwest. 

She has consistently electrified audiences with her graceful and energetic interpretation of Egyptian style Oriental Dance. Her sensuous and fluid style reflects the graceful movements of her first teacher, Khedy Megateli, a beautiful dancer of Algerian descent.

Vashti captures the feeling of traditional Egyptian styling and translates that spirit in a classroom situation. She has taught seminars throughout the United States and has performed in clubs in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and the Dallas/Fort Worth areas.

Vashti is an exceptional and caring instructor who not only challenges but also inspires her students and makes learning fun. First-time students will understand why she is one of Sirrom School's favorite instructors. Sirrom is pleased to welcome her back to Houston for these exciting workshops.
